The Animal Depot is a feature in the game introduced in version 2.10.0.
Overview[]
The Animal Depot is a place to store animals that the player has unlocked but has not unlocked their respective species or zone. Event animals can now be bought or unlocked from events, but won't show up in the habitat until the respective species habitat is unlocked or the base animal is tamed.
The Animal Depot can work on regular animals too. They can be given out by developers as gifts, and will remain in the Animal Depot until you perform the latter tasks.
