The First Anniversary Cake and Rodeo Statue
Anniversaries are event holidays that celebrate the date of the official launch of Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari, or Rodeo Stampede's birthday. They occur around the 22nd of June, which was the date when Rodeo Stampede was released. Sometimes, Children's Day has been combined with anniversary celebrations.
Gameplay[]
Like most other events, the player could purchase items from the shop using a currency. However, anniversary events are unique in that they give the player the opportunity to redeem all limited time items from other events. They also often offer new animals, decorations and hats/costumes. The Sky Zoo was also heavily decorated, featuring a large birthday cake at the front of the ship.
Gift collectibles
Anniversary events have traditionally had very little change to gameplay. In the First, Second, Third, Fifth, and Seventh Anniversary Events, the way to earn anniversary currency was to collect gifts in the stampede, which replaced crates. Each gift gave 1 of the event currency.
However, in the Fourth Anniversary Event, the traditional anniversary format was replaced by the "boss battle" format, where the player can tame new event animals and earn currency by completing boss missions. Harder missions gave more currency.
In the Sixth Anniversary Event, the usual anniversary format was replaced by the puzzle format. Each day, three missions, with extra two missions added by watching an ad, appear in the event menu which the player has to complete in order to collect puzzle pieces (
), which contribute to solving a 42-puzzle piece picture.
