The Ant is the first ant in the game, and likely to be the first Garden animal that the player befriends.

Appearance

The Ant is completely coloured a very dark purple, almost black, with some highlights on its back and thorax. It has six legs, two long, curving antennae, a relatively small head with two mandibles. Its body, like real life ants, is comprised of a thorax, the slimmer part in the middle where its legs are attached to, and its abdomen, the bulbous part of its body at its rear.

It is estimated that there are 10,000 trillion ants in the world.

• The Ant is based on a real-life ant.
  • Its appearance most closely reflects a black garden ant.
• The description references some trivia about ants, however, this figure has been debated.
• The Baby Ant's attributes is a reference to the adult's in-game behaviour.

Notes

• The Ant was released in version 1.15.0 on the 22nd of March 2018 along with Garden and the first five Garden species.
• The Ant's appearance changed in version 1.15.1 on the 19th of April 2018. It was initially coloured dark brown, as shown below. This was likely to improve the contrast between the Ant and the ground before 1000m in Garden.
