The Anubis is the eighth minotaur in the game. It can be found in the stampede when the player upgrades their minotaur habitat to level 9.
Appearance[]
The Anubis has the same general body shape as the Minotaur, albeit coloured pitch black. Its head now resembles that of a canine, with ears pointing up and a white fang on both sides of its mouth. It wears a teal earring on both ears, and a stripy gold-and-teal coloured headcloth going from head to back. This begins with a slab of gold between its ears with emits a glowing aura. This same teal-and-gold colour is used for upper and lower armbands, sandals, sash and a staff in its right hand. Finally, the Anubis wears a modest linen dress around its waist.
Description[]
Egyptian god of the afterlife, Anubis would only allow those whose hearts were lighter than a feather to enter the afterlife.
Requirements[]
- Olympus 1 unlocked.
- Minotaur tamed.
- Minotaur habitat upgraded to level 9.
- Ride past 1800m in Olympus.
Note: Its chance of appearing is extremely low due to it being a tier 5 animal. It will appear randomly but very rarely, and never before 1800m.

- The Anubis is a reference to the Egyptian god Anubis in name, description, and appearance.
- It is one of five animals having an Ancient Egypt theme, the others being Taweret, Pharaohdactyl, Scarab Beetle, and Hierogryphon.

- The Anubis was released on the 18th of August 2017 in version 1.10.0 along with Olympus and the first five Olympus species.
