Badges are a currency in the game introduced in 1.50.0. They allow the player to purchase exclusive content as well as expired animals and hats they might not have. Alongside Zoo Coins, they are the only currency in the game not to be a limited time event currency.
Appearance[]
Badges are in the shape of six-pointed stars. They are coloured bright cyan, and embedded in the middle of the star is a royal blue circle. The circle contains in its centre another bright cyan six-pointed star.
Uses[]
Badges can be used for:
- Buying regular and event animals.
- Buying animals from The Stampede.
- Buying hats.
- Buying decorations.
- Purchasing special offers from limited time events.
Obtaining[]
can be obtained through several different methods:
- At the beginning, you start off with 30
, where you are guided by the tutorial to buy the Rodeo Statue with 10
.
- The first way of actually gaining Badges is by expanding the Sky Zoo. The number of Badges from upgrading your ship to a new Zone will increase: Savannah is 30, Jungle is 35, Mountains is 40, Outback is 45 and Tundra is 50 (Upgrading your ship to Tundra 5 will earn you 100 Badges). Each time you upgrade your ship to the next upgrade like Savannah 2 to Savannah 3 you will earn the amount that the Zone is 30. You will get 30 extra Badges on top of the amount that you get for the Zone for upgrading your ship to a new Zone so like from Savannah 5 to Jungle 1. Savannah gives 30 Badges each time when you upgrade the ship and an extra 30 for unlocking Jungle, the total would be 60 Badges.
- The second method is by spinning the Lucky Wheel. At 5 spins, you get a reward of 25
, and at 65 spins, you get a reward of 180
.
- Thirdly,
are given as free rewards in the monthly sign-in.
- Finally, the player can earn
by buying things from the Shop, which requires real money.
Animals[]
Animals here are only from the Sky Zoo, and all are regular except for the Cockadoodile, which is a secret animal. The prices of the animals are based on their rarities and are fixed. In addition to that, every two days an event animal from any of the zoos appears as a special offer for a number of . The animal will remain in the shop for two days, where another event animal replaces it.

Note: The Cockadoodile is the only secret animal to be acquired through Badges. This is most likely due to it spawning like a regular animal during its secret mission.
