The Bananarama is the third squid in the game.
Appearance[]
The Bananarama resembles an half unpeeled banana, being yellow in colour with brown spots on its head and its tentacles. Each of its tentacles, representing the skin, ends with a distinct slightly darker section. Between each of the tentacles is the unpeeled banana itself. On the tip of its head is a stem similar to the broken stem of a banana.

Note: Its chance of appearing is medium due to it being a tier 3 animal. It will appear in just over half the runs the player does, and never before 1000m.

- The Bananarama's name is based on the pop group Bananarama, with its banana theme taking the name very literally.
- The Bananarama may have been chosen to be a squid for several reasons:
- A half-peeled banana somewhat resembles a squid, with the skin resembling tentacles and the banana resembling a torso.[1]
- The pop group Bananarama's debut album is Deep Sea Skiving, with Squid Palmer being the name of one of the sound engineers for the album.[2]
- The Bananarama's banana theme is extended on in the description. It references "monkeying around", meaning to mess or fool around, which in turn alludes to how monkeys like to eat bananas. The description implies that because of this, the Bananarama would be eaten by a monkey and hence not like it.
