The Blessing Elephant is the ninth type of elephant in the game. It was first released as a part of the 2018 Chinese New Year Event.

Appearance[]

The Blessing Elephant has the same general appearance as the African Elephant, although it is white skinned and has slightly pinkish red ears with a yellow, pixelated diamond outline on each side of them. Its trunk is also patterned, with horizontal gold stripes on its white trunk. The Blessing Elephant wears ceremonial dress, most namely a gold headband with a red ball on a gold base, and a 'blanket' that is a slightly pinkish red with a yellow trim and tassels on the edges. It is also patterned, with the outline of a yellow diamond on its back similar to the pattern on its ears, and a yellow end which leaves a small rectangle around its tail. Its tusks are replaced with orange ceremonial horns, and its tail has red cuboids with a single yellow stripe each hanging from the stem. Finally, its tail is shaped like Chinese hanging firecrackers.

Description[]

Make a wish upon this elephant and live a happy life.

Requirements[]

Note: Its chance of appearing is extremely low due to it being a tier 5 animal. It will appear randomly but very rarely, and never before 500m.

Tips for Boss Mission[]

The Blessing Elephant boss mission is by far the easiest of any boss mission in the game. The player is faced with a slightly differently coloured map, similar to Savannah, that is littered with animal carcasses and features buffalo, elephants, vultures and lions, depending on whether the player has unlocked them or not. All the player has to do is play until approximately 1000m where the Blessing Elephant will appear, moving very fast, and jump on, without missing, eating or smashing the Blessing Elephant. From there on it is extremely straightforward, as long as the player's elephant habitat has been upgraded to level 5, meaning that the Blessing Elephant can smash anything, and the player simply needs to avoid running into a sidewall.

Trivia[]

  • The Blessing Elephant holds little significance to Chinese culture, possibly referencing China's strong spiritual belief and belief in fortune and blessing.
    • The Blessing Elephant is more relevant to Indian culture, where people can visit temples to be blessed by elephants there.[1]
    • The appearance of the Blessing Elephant appears to be based on white elephants which are treated spiritually and often dressed up royally in India, Thailand and other Asian cultures.

Notes[]
