The Carboarn Crystal is the second VIP animal.

Appearance

The Carboarn Crystal shares a body template with the Wild Boar. It has a deep-ish purple coloured body, with many luminous long pointy magenta crystals growing from the top of its head and back. On its snout, it has miscellaneously placed square crystals, coloured a darker purple. The Carboarn Crystal emits a bright pink aura under its body, as well as small pink sparkles.

Abilities

• Ride for an extra 4s before Carboarn Crystal gets angry
• Ride faster through water on Carboarn Crystal
• Angry Carboarn Crystal accelerates slower
• Get bonus coins while bucking on Carboarn Crystal

Behaviour

• When ridden: The Carboarn Crystal hops up and down rapidly but moves at a slow pace.
• When angry: The Carboarn Crystal accelerates rapidly when angry and bucks at a rapid speed, making it close to uncontrollable.
• In habitat: The Carboarn Crystal walks around, occasionally sniffing the ground of their pen.
  • Selected in habitat: The Carboarn Crystal sniffs two times in front of them, on their left and on their right.

Trivia

• The Carboarn Crystal is a pun on 'carbon crystal'. Carbon is the primary element in many popular gemstones and crystals, such as diamonds.
  • The description is a reference to the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever, as well as the theme song of the same name by Shirley Bassey, which was also notably sampled in 'Diamonds from Sierra Leone' by Kanye West. The song can be heard here.

Notes

• The Carboarn Crystal was released in version 1.24.0 on the 23rd of October 2019 on iOS and the 25th of October on Android, along with all pangolins, roosters, kirins and other VIP animals.
• In version 1.26.1 on the 17th of February 2020, the Carboarn Crystal gained abilities that made it equal to an upgraded boar, with some improved attributes.
• The ability "Angry Carboarn Crystal accelerate slower" contains a mistake. "Accelerate" should be written as "accelerates".
  • This may be due to the ability being directly copied from the habitat upgrades of the boar habitat.
    • This was fixed at an unknown date.
