The Cardinal Dragon is the ninth Chinese dragon in the game. It was first released as a part of the 2021 Chinese New Year Event.
Appearance[]
The Cardinal Dragon is coloured in various shades of red and yellow. It largely resembles a traditional Chinese dragon, with red-and-yellow striped horns curving away from each other on the top of its red and light orange head. Catfish-like whiskers sprout from each side of its nose, and a smaller striped horn is found just under each eye. The back of its dark maroon body is covered in a layer of scale-like black armor with thick gold edges, culminating on its head with two orange-and-gold flame-shaped decorations. Near the back of its body, it has maroon wings with golden lines throughout them, and the back end of its armor is decorated with a similar object as the head. Its stout legs are deep maroon, thinly striped with a slightly lighter red colour.

- Cardinal Dragon is tamed immediately upon purchase.
- Purchase for 150
- Once obtained, ride past 800m in Great Wall.
Note: Its chance of appearing is extremely low due to it being a tier 5 animal. It will appear randomly but very rarely, and never before 800m.

- The Cardinal Dragon's name may come from the definition of the word "cardinal", which is "of utmost importance".[1] Aside from this, the Cardinal Dragon lacks any tangible reference.
- The Cardinal Dragon was released with an affiliated hat, the General Cardinal.

- The Cardinal Dragon was released in version 1.29.0 on the 27th of January 2021, however it was not obtainable until the 5th of February when the 2021 Chinese New Year Event began.
