The Cementipede is the sixth centipede in the game. It is a boss animal, meaning that the player must complete a minigame in order to tame it. After successfully taming, it can be found permanently in the stampede.

Appearance

The Cementipede looks very similar to the Centipede, excepting a few changes. Its main body colour, and the colour of its legs, is slightly duller than that of the Centipede. Its most noticeable feature is the pair of orange construction cones replacing its hind legs. Additionally, the Cementipede wears an orange high-visibility vest, as well as a yellow construction hard hat.

Requirements

• Space Zoo upgraded to Garden 5 or greater.
• Centipede tamed.
• Centipede habitat upgraded to level 4.
• Unlock (see how to unlock boss mission here) and complete Cementipede boss mission (tips for completion are below). From here it can be found in Garden permanently.
• To be found in the stampede: Ride past 1600m in Garden.

Note: Its chance of appearing is extremely low due to it being a tier 5 animal. It will appear randomly but very rarely, and never before 1600m.

Tips for Boss Mission

The Cementipede boss mission is very simple, being one of the most straightforward in the game. The player must ensure to eat as many ants as possible, while avoiding the minefield of rocks which are all spaced far enough apart for the player to travel through with ease. The player is also recommended to avoid spider webs, as, while the Cementipede can outrun the spider that appears from behind, there is a risk that the Cementipede could become angry and slow down.

Trivia

• The Cementipede is a play on cement, and more generally, a construction worker, who tends to work with cement.
  • The description references this while making yet another joke on a centipede's many feet, like most other centipedes.

Notes

• The Cementipede was released in version 1.16.0 on the 8th of May 2018 on Android and on the 10th of May 2018 on iOS, along with beetles, all other centipedes and butterflies.
  • Like all beetles, other centipedes and butterflies, the Cementipede was bugged on iOS and would not appear up until the release of version 1.16.1 on the 14th of May 2018.
