Note: This article is about the individual animal called the Centipede. For information about the animal species Centipede, please click here.

The Centipede is the first centipede that the player can befriend in Garden.

Appearance Edit

The Centipede is comprised of a long, flat, segmented body of six parts. Its main body theme colour is a vibrant orange, with nine pairs of dusty gold legs. Its head is burgundy in colour, as is its final 'tail' segment, which also hosts its final pair of legs. Stemming from its head are two long, unevenly proportioned antennae, with its right being longer than its left, as well as two curved spikes pointing forwards from the sides of its head.

Description Edit

A highly venomous arthropod. Despite the name, no centipede has exactly 100 legs.

Requirements Edit

Baby Centipede Edit

  • Eating animals is 6% more effective

Trivia Edit

  • The description references trivia about real life centipedes, with the fact being true due to no centipede having an even number of pairs of legs, even though the prefix 'centi-' means 'one hundred'.
  • One of the baby centipede's attributes is a reference of the predatory nature of real life centipedes, as well as their behaviour in-game.

Notes Edit

  • The Centipede was released in version 1.16.0 on the 8th of May 2018 on Android and on the 10th of May 2018 on iOS, along with beetles, all other centipedes and butterflies.
    • Like all beetles, other centipedes and butterflies, the Centipede was bugged on iOS and would not appear up until the release of version 1.16.1 on the 14th of May 2018.
