The Champion Cicada is the ninth beetle in the game. It was first introduced in The Stampede Season 4.
Appearance[]
The Champion Cicada is mostly dark brown fading to a lighter tone at its feet and has yellow antennae. Unlike other beetles, the Champion Cicada has a beige pair of wings that covers nearly all of its back. It also wears a cowboy hat similar to the one that the Champion Troodon wears, and carries a packed green blanket on its wings.

Requirements[]
- Space Zoo upgraded to Garden 4 or greater.
- Beetle tamed.
- Reach the Cowboy rank in The Stampede.
- Ride past 2000m in Garden.
Note: Its chance of appearing is extremely low due to it being a tier 5 animal. It will appear randomly but very rarely, and never before 2000m.

- The Champion Cicada references a cicada.
- Despite resembling a cicada, cicadas are not related to beetles. Instead, cicadas are part of the Hemiptera order.

- The Champion Cicada was released in version 3.2.0 on the 21st of July 2023, as a part of the The Stampede Season 4.
- The Champion Cicada was the app icon mascot temporarily, in version 3.2.0, to celebrate the release of the The Stampede Season 4, with the Monarch Butterfly in the background.
