The Chimera is the fourth type of griffin by zoo order. It can be found in the stampede when the player upgrades their griffin habitat to level 5 or higher.
Appearance[]
The Chimera has many features resembling a lion, including golden fur, a thick dark brown mane around the back of its head. Its protruding, round mouth features two small sharp teeth sticking out of its mouth. It has four lion-like legs, each with three claws, with its hind legs being thicker and stronger. Two brown wings, like other griffins are attached to its back, and red tinged brown horns that curl backwards sprout from its head. Its tail is coloured very dark green, and resembles a snake, especially with its eyes and red forked tongue sticking out from its mouth.
Description[]
A fearsome beast that has the head and body of a lion, horns of a goat and a snake for a tail. It could even breathe fire.
Requirements[]
- Space Zoo upgraded to Olympus 2 or greater.
- Griffin tamed.
- Griffin habitat upgraded to level 5 or higher.
- Ride past 1300m in Olympus.
Note: Its chance of appearing is low due to it being a tier 4 animal. It will appear randomly but not often, and never before 1300m.

- The description in-game gives an explanation of the mythological Chimera.
- All three of the Baby Chimera's abilities relate to the characteristics of the adult.
- The Chimera is one of two animals based on the mythical Chimera, the other being the Chimeratops.
Notes[]
- The Chimera was released on the 18th of August 2017 in version 1.10.0 along with Olympus and the first five Olympus species.
- The Baby Chimera, upon release, had blurry eyes. This was fixed at an unknown date.
