The poster for the event
The Chinese New Year Event 2024, or named in-game as the Spring Event, is an event that started on the 5th of February 2024 and will end on the 25th of February.
About[]
Unlike previous Chinese New Year events, this event required the player to collect shards (
) to obtain animals. The player had to collect 250 for each individual animal out of 5 animals: the Dragon backed Turtle, the Dragon wing Rooster, the Dragon head Buffalo, the Dragon tailed Snake, and the Dragon horned Tiger. After unlocking all 5 event animals, the player would have to play once more in the sub-zone to tame the Dragon God, which all animals are based on.
The player had to complete 5 missions each day to receive 200 ingots (
) for four of them and one rewarding 5 for one animal, and an additional mission can be unlocked after watching an ad. Ingots can be used to purchase a chest which costs 100. Each chest gives 5 for an event animal, (5, 10, 15, 20, or 25), and a possibility of getting an increased chance of event animals appearing in the special sub-zone.
The sub-zone was identical to Great Wall although certain graphical elements were changed, with Chinese New Year styled obstacles. The Dragon God could occasionally be seen flying on the edges of the map, however it cannot be ridden. In the sub-zone, the player had to ride the event animals for a period of time to receive 1 for that animal.

Tips[]
- Try avoiding opening your chests until you unlock at least one animal (most commonly the Dragon backed Turtle); preferably two. This will allow shards obtained from the chest to go toward other rarer event animals, like the Dragon tailed Snake and the Dragon horned Tiger.
- When you encounter two close event animals in the sub-zone, ride onto the animal that you have more shards for, as to unlock that animal faster.
