The Damselfly is the fifth dragonfly by zoo order. It can be found in the stampede when the player upgrades their dragonfly habitat to level 2 or higher.
Appearance[]
The Damselfly has a deep purple head, covered by short red hair and a comical yellow tiara that looks relatively flat, complete with red edges. The Damselfly's tail can also be seen to be deep purple, with its wings being a lighter hue in comparison. The Damselfly wears a yellow dress over its thorax and abdomen, with a red corset around its 'waist'. Its six legs are coloured a very dark purple.

Requirements[]
- Space Zoo upgraded to Garden 3 or greater.
- Dragonfly tamed.
- Dragonfly habitat upgraded to level 2 or higher.
- Ride past 1200m in Garden.
Note: Its chance of appearing is low due to it being a tier 4 animal. It will appear randomly but not often, and never before 1200m.

Trivia[]
- The Damselfly is a play on a damselfly, using the first part of the word, "damsel", a young unmarried woman. A damsel is commonly part of a fairytale quest, with a "damsel in distress" being the young woman that the hero must find and save.
- The description plays on both a dragonfly's predatory nature and the saying "damsel in distress".

- The Damselfly was released in version 1.15.0 on the 22nd of March 2018 along with Garden and the first five Garden species.
