The Dande Lion is the second lion in the order shown in the Sky Zoo.
The Dande Lion, true to its name, appears to have been inspired by an actual dandelion. Its face appears identical to the Lion's, only with a lighter coloured nose. However, while the general body structure is also the same, some of the Dande Lion's features and most of its colours differ. Its body is coloured a bottle green, with a gradient fading to yellow towards its limbs. Its paws are coloured white. Its mane appears to be based on a flower, with eight "petals" streaking backward. All of them are grey, fading to lavender towards the ends. The stalk of its tail follows the same gradient. The end of its tail is yellow, fading to orange at the edges. The Dande Lion also possesses three stalks just behind the mane, with the same gradient as the tail, albeit with desaturated colours. The stalks have solid yellow cubes at the ends.
The world's rarest and most feared carnivorous plant. Don't get too close, this ain't no pussywillow.
Note: Its chance of appearing is high but not guaranteed due to it being a tier 2 animal. It will appear often but not necessarily in every run, and never before 1400m.
Baby Dande Lion Edit
- The name "Dande Lion" is a pun on a dandelion.
- Pussywillow, a term used in the description, is a plant known for its furry appearance. Such comparisons further the plant-inspired nature of the Dande Lion, especially how the lion is a furry animal and a dandelion is a plant.
- The stalks and the cubes resting on the ends of them, that are behind the Dande Lion's mane, appear to have been modelled in such a way that it is the inside of the cubes that are shown, rather than the outside.
- The Baby Dande Lion's ability where mating animals appear 6% more often plays on the Dande Lion being a flower, with flowers commonly being associated with love and hence mating.
