The Dark Pegasus is the ninth pegasus in the game. It is a boss animal. In order to tame it, the player must complete a minigame. After taming, it will then be able to be found in the stampede permanently. The minigame can only be attempted and completed during a limited time event.
Appearance[]
The Dark Pegasus is a charcoal-coloured variant of the Pegasus, with a light purple nose, wingtips and tail. Its body features numerous pieces of ash-purple-coloured plating, on the outside of its hooves, on each side of its face, curling around its eyes, and on the front edge of its wings, each of which featuring a jagged, sharp design. Its mane is a light purple, as is its horns, dagger-like in appearance, with two sharp points sticking out either side, and jutting towards the centre. The horns levitate a light purple crystal, which additionally emanates a purple light with sparkles. Finally, its eyes are coloured white with purple outsides, compared to the usual black with white outsides.
Description[]
Going through darkness, this pegasus turns itself into black.

Tips for Boss Mission[]
The Dark Pegasus boss mission is fairly simple. The player is faced with rows of pillars, structures and trees, although none of them are particularly hard to dodge. The Dark Pegasus itself glides for much longer than usual, meaning that the player’s only major concern that is different in this mission is watching the height of the Dark Pegasus to avoid landing on a low pillar or smashing into an overhanging structure. Apart from this, the player should keep a steady hand when the Dark Pegasus is on the ground to prevent any collisions with obstacles.
