The Dimetrodon is the first dimetrodon that the player can tame in the game.
Appearance[]
The Dimetrodon's body is awkward and slightly disproportionate, with a large, bulky head that makes up around one third of its body length, a stocky body, short, stubby legs and a shortish, thin tail. Its overall colour scheme is a mint green and orange ombre fading from top to bottom, with a fuzzy dark burgundy line running down from the top of its back to the rip of its tail. Its sail, coloured light pink with a several cyan zig-zag patterns, features five pillars, each fading to burgundy at the base. The very bottom of its sail can be seen to be filled in with cyan. When not retracted, the sail makes up two thirds of its body height. Each of the Dimetrodon's legs have small, square feet with three short white claws, and the Dimetrodon's teeth can be seen jutting out from its protruding bottom jaw, pointing towards the sky.

Its back is covered by a huge, spiny sail, which makes it impossible to land on while the sail is raised.

- The Dimetrodon's appearance is based on a now extinct dimetrodons, based on skeletal evidence.
- The Dimetrodon's traits and abilities are hinted in the description.
- Despite the in-game abilities, there is no evidence that real life dimetrodons could retract their sails.
Notes[]
- The Dimetrodon was released on the 16th of August 2018 in version 1.19.0 along with all other dimetrodons.
- The Dimetrodon' colouring is unlikely to reflect that of dimetrodons in real life, with the green colour likely chosen for added vibrancy.
