The Drillbat is the sixth VIP animal.
Appearance[]
The Drillbat has aspects resembling the appearance of a truck, with grey wheels for feet and a large, grey drill on its face. It has a very small, orange body, based on the Wombat, covered in yellow plating, with a thin horizontal orange stripe and a grille on each side. A yellow hard hat is set on top of the Drillbat’s head. Glowing features of the Drillbat include its two large, square headlights, each shining a clear beam forward, and two round red lights emitting a fainter pink aura at the top of its rear.

Behaviour[]
- When ridden: The Drillbat hops up and down ecstatically.
- When angry: When the Drillbat is angry it leaps up and burrows itself underground, with a trail of dug-up dirt visible. While underground it can smash rocks, trees and another animals but contact to these will make it fling the player a long distance off. The player cannot jump off without smashing anything while underground.
- In habitat: The Drillbat plods along in the habitat, constantly moving its head around and twitching its nose. It will occasionally bob its head twice, look to the left and sniff twice, and look to the right and sniff twice.
- Selected in habitat: The Drillbat will do the same as its normal occasional in-habitat behaviour; that is, bob its head twice, look to the left and sniff twice, and look to the right and sniff twice.
Trivia[]
- The Drillbat’s name is based off of a real-life drill, a tool used usually by miners to drill into rocks. This plays on a real-life wombat being renowned for digging burrows, as well as a wombat's in-game behaviour.
- The description has a pun on the word miner, replacing the correct word, minor. This further alludes to the drill motif.
Notes[]
- The Drillbat was released in version 1.24.0 on the 23rd of October 2019 on iOS and the 25th of October on Android, along with all pangolins, roosters, kirins and other VIP animals.
- In version 1.26.1 on the 17th of February 2020, the Drillbat gained abilities that made it equal to an upgraded wombat, with some improved attributes.
