The Drop Bear is the first variety of drop bear that is obtainable, and possibly the first animal that the player befriends in Outback.
Appearance[]
The Drop Bear is small in size, and is mostly dark grey. It has sharp grey claws on its front paws, and its dominant colour of grey fades to white at the bottom of its arms. It walks on all four legs, with its back legs being longer than its front. It has a white belly and white ears with frills at the end of each. Its head is wide, and features eyes that give a menacing feel, a round nose and a pink mouth with four sharp white teeth.

Aggressive carnivorous marsupials that leap from trees and rocks to prey upon unwary tourists.
Requirements[]
- Sky Zoo upgraded to Outback 1 or greater.
- Ride in Outback (found perched in trees, jumping down towards the player when the player is in range).

Trivia[]
- The Drop Bear's name and appearance is based off the myth of the drop bear, rumoured to jump off trees and consume people and animals travelling through the Outback, the harsh desert centre of Australia.
- When European settlers observed koalas, they believed that they were the 'drop bears' that had been the cause behind disappearances in the Outback. The description plays on this.
- The Drop Bear appears in the Conan the Baabaarian boss mission.

- The Drop Bear was released in version 1.3.0 on the 13th of October 2016 along with Outback and all other Outback species.
