The Fairy Penguin is the sixth type of penguin. It is a secret animal, requiring the player to complete a secret mission to befriend.

Appearance

The Fairy Penguin has luminous pink plumage, covering all of its body except its tummy, face and beak. Its tummy and the inside of its wings are a cool very light grey colour, and its pointy beak is coloured yellow, almost beige. In its right hand it holds a wand with a black handle and a yellow five-pointed star at its head. On the Fairy Penguin's head is a small band with a smaller white flower sat atop the right side. Attached to its back are a small pair of cool, very light grey fairy wings.

Description

Surprisingly hard to find despite their incredibly bright and colourful plumage.

Requirements

• Sky Zoo upgraded to Tundra 5.
• Ride eight different animal species uninterrupted in a row in Tundra.
  • The player must start on an animal from a different zone, or an epic animal, in order to do this. A tip is to first jump onto a rarer animal (e.g. an owl) and stay on it until a rarer animal which cannot be ridden infinitely is found (e.g. a walrus), before jumping on the remaining animal species.

Note: Due to it being a secret animal, it will appear every time the player completes the above requirements.

Trivia

• The Fairy Penguin plays on a real life fairy penguins, a very small variety of penguin that does not have any pink feathers. It is also known as the little penguin.
  • The description plays on how fairies of storybooks are never seen in real life.
  • Although playing on a real life fairy penguin, the Fairy Penguin appearance is based on a mythical fairy, with a star wand to cast magic and wings to fly.
• The Fairydactyl is the other fairy-referencing animal.

Notes

• The Fairy Penguin was released on the 25th of January 2017 in version 1.5.0, along with Tundra and all other Tundra animals.
• Like most other Tundra descriptions, the description was missing a period at the end.
  • This was corrected in version 1.15.0 on the 22nd of March 2018.
