The Firebug is the seventh VIP animal.
Appearance[]
The Firebug has an orange-coloured body similar to the Pillbug. It is cloaked in yellow fire with a white center that gives off a reddish glow. Its antenna is orange with a darker variant of the colour at the tips. When angry, the Firebug curls up into a blazing ball, producing a long, bright streak behind.

Behaviour[]
- When ridden: The Firebug scuttles along.
- When angry: The Firebug jumps up, wraps itself into a ball and rolls forwards, taking the shape of a fireball. It is able to steer relatively well, accelerating faster and faster.
- In habitat: The Firebug scuttles awkwardly, occasionally having a look from side to side.
- Selected in habitat: The Firebug moves its body from side to side.
Trivia[]
- The Firebug's name is a portmanteau of 'fire' and 'pillbug'.
- The description includes the idiom hot on your heels, meaning to follow closely behind someone. This plays on both the Firebug's fiery theme and appearance, as well as its speed when angry, being based on a pillbug.

- The Firebug was released in version 1.24.0 on the 23rd of October 2019 on iOS and the 25th of October on Android, along with all pangolins, roosters, kirins and other VIP animals.
- The Firebug was originally going to be named the "Pillblaze".
- In version 1.26.1 on the 17th of February 2020, the Firebug gained abilities that made it equal to an upgraded pillbug, with some improved attributes.
