The Gorilla the Punch is the tenth gorilla in the game. It can only be tamed through an in-app purchase.

Appearance

The Gorilla the Punch is very mechanical in appearance. It has a dark brown body covered by white metallic armour on its chest and arms, both with golden decorative patches that resemble reflective patches or glowing lights. The upper section of its head is encased by a white helmet and orange visor. Black and white zig-zag stripes are on its forearms. From its back sprout six exhaust pipes.

Description

The scientist who created this invincible gorilla is quite a huge fan of eggs.

Requirements

• Sky Zoo upgraded to Jungle 1 or greater.
• Purchase as a part of Exclusive Cowboy Pack III.
  • Pack is only available for 3 days, from either:
    • The time the player opens the game after updating to version 1.27.5 (iOS) or 1.28.0 (Android).
    • The time the player unlocks Jungle 1 or any area after.
• Once obtained, ride past 900m in Jungle.

Note: Its chance of appearing is medium due to it being a tier 3 animal. It will appear in just over half the runs the player does, and never before 900m.

Trivia

• The Gorilla the Punch's appearance has no specific reference, having been designed to look enticing to purchase with real money.
  • Its theme appears to be related to the Rhimor, with both having a notable mechanical theme to them.
• The Gorilla the Punch's English name may be a reference to the Japanese anime franchise One-Punch Man, however, the appearance does not support this.
• The description may reference the Jurassic Park in the reference of "eggs", with dinosaurs being synthesised by applying the dinosaur nucleus (containing dinosaur DNA) into an egg. This is somewhat similar to the way that the Gorilla the Punch is an artificially-synthesised animal.
  • It may alternatively be a reference to how the Gorilla the Punch vaguely resembles an egg, with a predominantly white body and yellow light sources, resembling egg yolks.

Notes

• The Gorilla the Punch was released in version 1.27.5 on the 14th of November 2020 on iOS, and in version 1.28.0 on the 4th of December 2020 on Android.
• The Gorilla the Punch's name contains an error in that "The" should not have a capital letter.
  • This was fixed at an unknown date.
