The Katydid is the third grasshopper in the game.
Appearance[]
The Katydid is a pink variant of the Grasshopper, with hot pink wings, a velvet pink body and cool purple as the colour of the tips of its legs. Other than this it remains identical to the Grasshopper.

It would look a lot like a leaf if it weren't bright pink.
Requirements[]
- Garden 1 unlocked.
- Grasshopper tamed.
- Ride past 800m in Garden.
Note: Its chance of appearing is medium due to it being a tier 3 animal. It will appear in just over half the runs the player does, and never before 800m.

Trivia[]
- The Katydid's pink colour, referenced in the description, does exist in real life, with a genetic alteration causing a rare type of katydid to be pink as opposed to green.[1]

- The Katydid was released in version 1.15.0 on the 22nd of March 2018 along with Garden and the first five Garden species.
