The Legendary Lion is the fifth epic animal. It can only be obtained from the Legendary Lion Subscription, and only for a limited time. To obtain it permanently, the player must pay a certain amount of money (amount varies between countries) to renew the subscription every week for an infinite time, effectively meaning it cannot realistically be obtained permanently.
Appearance[]
The Legendary Lion's appearance resembles that of the Lion, albeit, its fur is golden in colour, and has a more extensive mane; spiky and golden in colour. Just behind this is a glowing white ring comprised of two parts, with serrated edges to give the Legendary Lion a powerful, otherworldly appearance. Most notably, the Legendary Lion sports a pair of wings similar to that of a pegasus, coloured beige with a white leading edge. A unicorn's horn, white in colour, sits atop its head, while it releases a trail of glowing golden shards behind it as it runs. Finally, its tail is long and golden, with a beige arrowhead tip.

Ability[]
The Legendary Lion is unlocked when the player subscribes to the Legendary Lion Subscription, which grants the player the abilities of all other epic animals for the period of the subscription. The abilities of the Cash Cow and the Lucky Lamb will be doubled from the usual amount, meaning the player receives a 4x boost for both zoo income and rare animal appearances. However, if the player does not have the actual epic animal, they will get the ability but won't have the animal.
Behavior[]
- When ridden: The Legendary Lion runs at a brisk pace and can eat all animals except big animals by running into them, like lions.
- When angry: Unlike lions, the Legendary Lion jumps around when angry, floating up in the air and flapping its wings every jump.
- In habitat: Mostly remains curled up, sleeping. Will occasionally walk around.
- Selected in habitat: Rears up and lunges, roaring to the sky.

- The Legendary Lion was released on the 29th of May 2019 in version 1.22.6.
- The Legendary Lion's appearance was updated in version 1.26.3 on the 27th of March 2020. Previously, the Legendary Lion's horn and wings were gold in color. It also lacked the glowing wreath or ring around the front of its body, instead having a brown second layer to its mane.
