The Maasai Lion is the seventh lion in the game. It can only be found in the stampede once the player upgrades the lion habitat to level 9, like all other level 9 animals.
Appearance[]
The Maasai Lion has dull orange fur, and wears nothing other than a light red pair of tribal underwear with horizontal stripes that are coloured a darker red and are not spaced equally and a native American headdress. This resembles a butterfly, with a blue, red-bordered hexagonal fastening to the Maasai Lion's head, light brown top wings, and blue and gray striped lower wings. Additionally, it wears a wristband around its front right leg coloured red, white and green, although the green isn't often visible due to glitches. The Maasai Lion also carries a long spear with a sharp, triangular silver blade to the right of its body.

- Sky Zoo upgraded to Savannah 5 or greater.
- Lion tamed.
- Lion habitat upgraded to level 9.
- Ride past 2200m in Savannah.
Note: Its chance of appearing is low due to it being a tier 4 animal. It will appear randomly but not often, and never before 2200m.

- The Maasai Lion is based on the Maasai people of Kenya and Tanzania who are known for hunting lions as adolescents as a rite of passage.
- The description is also a reference to how the Maasai people hunt in groups to give the lion population a chance to grow.

- The Maasai Lion was released on the 8th of September 2016 in version 1.2.0, along with all other Savannah, Jungle and Mountains level 9 animals.
