The Maple Ray is the second manta ray in the game.

The Maple Ray is a manta ray coated in numerous large, orange, textured maple leaves. Its pectoral fins, or wings, are made up of large single maple leaves. The underside of its body is coloured a fluorescent yellow.

Unlike maple trees, the maple ray cannot make syrup and whiskey.
Requirements[]
Note: Its chance of appearing is high but not guaranteed due to it being a tier 2 animal. It will appear often but not necessarily in every run, and never before 500m.

- The Maple Ray was released in version 2.3.0 on the 16th of June 2022 along with the other original manta ray species.
- Upon release, the Baby Maple Ray's passive ability used to decrease oxygen depletion by 6%. This was fixed in 2.4.0 on the 18th of July 2022.
