The Mecha Pangolin is the twelfth VIP animal.
Appearance[]
The Mecha Pangolin shares a body similar to the Pangolin. Its body is entirely made up of mechanical parts, referring to the 'Mecha' part of its name. Its main colour is a glowing light purple, as well as some grey and white. Its eyes lack pupils and are completely coloured purple, while diagonally-upwards pointing plates line the body, purple with grey and white supports. The Mecha Pangolin's plating is mostly white, with a grey embossed band in the middle of each, complete with a purple node at the base on either side. The underside of the Mecha Pangolin is gold. It also features some black wires along the top of its body, which run from its head to the end of its tail, connected to the body with gold sockets. Each foot of the Mecha Pangolin also features a gold node, while the legs are coated with grey mechanical plating. A bright yellow light glows from the centre of the Mecha Pangolin's forehead, while a purple light emanates from the torso.

Behaviour[]
- When ridden: The Mecha Pangolin scurries along in the stampede.
- When angry: The Mecha Pangolin jumps up, wraps itself into a ball and rolls forwards. It accelerates faster and faster when angry and has relatively good steering.
- In habitat: The Mecha Pangolin trots around in the habitat, occasionally swaying its head from side to side or twitching.
- Selected in habitat: The Mecha Pangolin bounces its body slightly from side to side.
Trivia[]
- The Mecha Pangolin is a part of the Mecha Team, also including the Mecha Panda and Mecha Crane. 'Mecha' derives from the anime/manga genre of Japanese popular culture, typically involving fighting robots.
- The robotic look of the Mecha Pangolin reflects this.
- The description is structured in the same way as the Mecha Panda's and the Mecha Crane's, further establishing the unified nature of the Mecha Team.
Notes[]
- The Mecha Pangolin was released in version 1.24.0 on the 23rd of October 2019 on iOS and the 25th of October on Android, along with all pangolins, roosters, kirins, and all other VIP animals.
- In version 1.26.1 on the 17th of February 2020, the Mecha Pangolin gained abilities that made it equal to an upgraded pangolin, with some improved attributes.
