The Metalsaurolophus is the ninth variety of parasaurolophus in the game. It is a boss animal, meaning that it can only be tamed after the player completes a minigame called a boss mission. After successfully taming, it can be found permanently in the stampede.

Appearance[]

The Metalsaurolophus, as the name suggests, is coated in metal plating, largely darker grey at the top and lighter grey making up the majority of the rest of its body. A metal helmet, complete with side plating covering the face, sits on the head, while the neck is protected by neck armour that has 3 layers, the thickest being at the bottom. On the top of each leg is a metal plate with a backward facing dagger attached; the dagger is coloured red, connected by a dark grey seam. A similar red dagger is featured on the back of the Metalsaurolophus's head and tail. The Metalsaurolophus additionally has small light grey bumps lining its tail.

Description[]

Metal skin, sharp claw - Metalsaurolophus is second to none.

Requirements[]

Note: Its chance of appearing is extremely low due to it being a tier 5 animal. It will appear randomly but very rarely, and never before 2200m.

Tips for Boss Mission[]

The player begins the Metalsaurolophus boss mission in a red zone with a similar design to Jurassic past 2000m. Skeletons can be seen in the stampede, along with volcanic rocks bombarding the player, the Metalsaurolophus and many other parasaurolophuses. The player must jump onto the Metalsaurolophus and navigate through bombardments of volcanic rocks while avoiding crashing into other parasaurolophuses. The Metalsaurolophus will remain not angry for the whole mission. A good tip is to predict the path of the wild parasaurolophuses so that they are not run into when attempting to avoid volcanic rocks.
