The Psychedelephant is the fourth type of elephant that the player can obtain.
Appearance[]
The Psychedelephant is distinctly coloured in a multi-coloured gradient pattern with colours going from orange to red to purple to blue to green to yellow. Its upper torso and back have many flowers almost painted on, similarly to those of hippies. It has a large golden peace sign above the trunk between the eyes. Large flowers with thick bright green stems, the right one being pink and the left being purplish blue, each with yellow pollen centres, replace its tusks. Lastly, the Psychedelephant has a gradient from orange to purple on it's tail and a dark grey tip.

This elephant never let the man keep it down.

- African Elephant tamed.
- Ride past 1000m in Savannah.
Note: Its chance of appearing is low due to it being a tier 4 animal. It will appear randomly but not often, and never before 1000m.

Trivia[]
- The Psychedelephant's name is a portmanteau of 'psychedelia', the style or aesthetic replicating altered consciousness, and 'elephant'.
- The Psychedelephant's appearance is based on hippie culture, with the peace sign, rainbow colours and flowers.
- The hippie reference is related to the Psychedelephant in that hippies often took psychedelic drugs which caused hallucinations similar to the colours of the Psychedelephant.
- The description references how hippie culture is signified by independence and living by their own rules. Hippies wear bright colours and have a lifestyle that is different from normal society, which others can't "keep down".
- The Baby Psychedelephant's ability "Mating animals appear 6% more often" references another trait of hippies, a prominent sex life. It also reflects the 'love' part of 'peace and love'.
- The Psychedelephant is one of three animals that reference hippie culture, the others being the Hairodactyl and Hippiepotamus.
- The Psychedelephant was available in the soft launch of the game, under the name "Psychadeliphant". Its appearance was slightly different, with a dark grey back, grey on its trunk, and lacking the flowers that the current Psychedelephant has.
- The description was also slightly different, being "This elephant never let them man keep it down."
Notes[]
- The Psychedelephant was released in the original release, version 1.0.0, on the 22nd of June 2016, along with Savannah and all other original Savannah animals, Jungle and all original Jungle animals, and the Sky Zoo.
- The Psychedelephant had a spelling mistake in that it was spelt "Psychadelephant", with the 'e' instead of the 'a' being the correct spelling for 'psychedelic'.
- This was corrected in version 1.15.0 on the 22nd of March 2018.
