The Quarterback Gorilla is the third type of gorilla that can be found.
Appearance
The Quarterback Gorilla has dark brown hair which is richer in colour compared to the Western Gorilla. It wears an American football uniform consisting of a gridiron helmet which is large and bulky, largely covering its eyes, and is dull red with two creme white stripes running down the middle, a shirt, a pair of shorts, socks and shoes. The shirt is faded dull red in colour with the number '00' in a block font with thick black outlines on the front and back of the shirt, and also has three stripes down the sides of its body and arms, coloured maroon, light red and maroon again. The short sleeves of its shirt also have stripes, coloured maroon, light red and black from the top of the sleeve to the end. Its shorts are coloured pale blue, also with three stripes running down each side and connecting at its bottom, coloured intense ice, white and intense ice again. The legs of the shorts are coloured white. Its socks go up to its shorts, and are coloured light dusty brown, brown and black from the foot up. Finally, its shoes are coloured black.

- Ride past 750m in Jungle.
Note: Its chance of appearing is medium due to it being a tier 3 animal. It will appear in just over half the runs the player does, and doesn't appear before 750m.

Trivia
- The Quarterback Gorilla is a reference to a quarterback, the leading and most important position in American football.
- This plays on the fact that gorillas have strong arms, which is also mentioned in the description.
- The Quarterback Gorilla is also a pun on a silverback gorilla, an adult male gorilla distinguished by the namesake silver hair on its back.
Notes
- The Quarterback Gorilla was released in the original release, version 1.0.0, on the 22nd of June 2016, along with Savannah and all original Savannah animals, Jungle and all other original Jungle animals, and the Sky Zoo.
- The Quarterback Gorilla had an error in that the 'b' shouldn't have been capitalised.
- This was fixed in version 1.12.1 on the 14th of November 2017.
