The Red Panda is the second type of panda in zoo order. It can be found in the stampede when the player upgrades their panda habitat to level 2 or higher.
Appearance[]
The Red Panda is coloured with reddish-orange fur fading into black towards its legs. Its head features white circles around its eyes, a white snout, thin cream coloured eyebrows slanting slightly down and ears coloured completely white. Compared to the Panda, the Red Panda has a significantly larger, bushy tail, coloured reddish-orange with faint stripes.

Requirements[]
- Space Zoo upgraded to Great Wall 2 or greater.
- Panda tamed.
- Panda habitat upgraded to level 2 or higher.
- Ride past 400m in Great Wall.
Note: Its chance of appearing is high but not guaranteed due to it being a tier 2 animal. It will appear often but not necessarily in every run, and never before 400m.

- The Red Panda is based on real-life red pandas, even though red pandas are not a type of bear, let alone a panda, in real life. This could be for ironic effect.
- The description references the size difference between red pandas and actual pandas in real life, even though this size difference is not represented in-game.

- The Red Panda was released in version 1.22.0 on the 28th of January 2019 along with Great Wall and the first five Great Wall species.
