The Sabretooth Lion is the third lion that the player can obtain in the game.
Appearance[]
The Sabretooth Lion is primarily golden yellow in colour, but has a slightly dimmer coat than the Lion. Its accent colour is a yellow-brown, again dimmer than the Lion, used for its mane, nose, tail tip, and spots. The only features that distinguish it from the Lion are the aforementioned dimmer shade of colour, brown spots speckled on its back and legs, and the eponymous off-white sabre-shaped canine teeth protruding out of its upper jaw. The rest of its features appear identical to the Lion.

- Sky Zoo upgraded to Savannah 5 or greater.
- Lion tamed.
- Ride past 1800m in Savannah.
Note: Its chance of appearing is medium due to it being a tier 3 animal. It will appear in just over half the runs the player does, and never before 1800m.

Trivia[]
- The Sabretooth Lion is a reference to the sabre-toothed tiger, which is an extinct species of cat known for its long sabre-shaped canine teeth. The liberties taken in its appearance here are alluded to in the description.
- It is one of the four animals that reference a sabre-toothed tiger, the others being the Sabretooth Hippo, the Saber-toothed tiger and the Sabre Tooth Walrus.
- In version 0.1.0, there was not the word totally. It was "This was a thing, right?".
Notes[]
- The Sabretooth Lion was released in the original release, version 1.0.0, on the 22nd of June 2016, along with Savannah and all Savannah animals, Jungle and all other Jungle animals, and the Sky Zoo.
- The Sabretooth Lion's appearance changed slightly from the soft launch, where it was a slightly brighter yellow hue.
