The Salted Fish is the ninth seal in the game. It is a boss animal, meaning that the player requires to complete a minigame to tame it. After successfully taming it, the Salted Fish can be found like a regular tier 5 animal in the stampede.
Appearance[]
The Salted Fish is coloured completely in a light turquoise or teal colour. It wears a bulky fish costume, coloured grey on its upper half and white on its lower. The costume's mouth is open, revealing the Salted Fish's head. The fins of the costume are nonexistent, being replaced with holes, with the arms of the Salted Fish protruding through; its tail is also similar, a hole revealing the teal flipper of the Salted Fish. The eyes of the costume are large and circular, with a black x making up the pupil. The costume also has a long grey dorsal fin, and a yellow crown on its head.

Tips for Boss Mission[]
The Salted Fish boss mission is fairly simple and straightforward; the player is simply required to navigate through a stampede of Common Seals and occasionally Walruses, through sections of ice and small rocks. The player can use the seal's level 5 ability to smash seals when traversing on ice. Otherwise, the player should ensure to stay away from the edges to avoid walruses, and utilise the ice when the seal is angry to gain more predictable control than a seal hopping with long jumps.
