The Sci-fi Squid is the fifth squid in the game. It could only be obtained by watching 50 ads in the Water World bonus.

Appearance

The Sci-fi Squid is identical in shape to the Squid, albeit coloured completely white. The exception to this is a purplish-black mask strapped to the top of its head, which has a single white circle in the centre. Its two tentacles are coloured dark purple ribbons, ending at lighter purple cards with a printed circle at the tips.

Before August 19 2022:

• Squid tamed.
• Watch 50 ads in the Water World bonus.
• Ride past 1500m in Ocean.

After August 19 2022:

• Ocean Zoo unlocked.

• Ride past 1500m in Ocean.

Note: Its chance of appearing is low due to it being a tier 4 animal. It will appear randomly but not often, and never before 1500m.

Trivia

• The Sci-fi Squid is a reference to Squid Game in appearance and description. The description mentions a "mask" which comes from a "game", which is a reference to the masks that the guards wear in Squid Game.

Notes

• The Sci-fi Squid was released in version 2.0.0 on the 14th of April 2022, as a part of the Water World bonus.
  • It was re-released permanently in version 2.5.0 on the 19th of August 2022. The Sci-fi Squid's rarity was changed from Mythic to Uncommon.
• The description is missing a period at the end.
