The Sea-Rex is the third tyrannosaurus rex in the game.
Appearance[]
The Sea-Rex is coloured different tones of blue all over, with light sea blue its primary colour. Its back can be seen to be a dark bluish teal, as is the top of its arms and legs, and features navy blue horizontal stripes. A fin sits atop of its head, and just behind each eye is a set of two gills, also coloured navy blue, to add to the sea theme. Also adding to the sea theme is the tail, which is similar to that of a shark.
Description[]
Lives off a seafood diet. Whatever it sees, is food.
Requirements[]
- Space Zoo upgraded to Jurassic 2 or greater.
- Tyrannosaurus Rex tamed.
- Ride past 1150m in Jurassic (must be riding an animal slower than a wild tyrannosaurus rex).
Note: Its chance of appearing is medium due to it being a tier 3 animal. It will appear in just over half the runs the player does, and never before 1150m.

Trivia[]
- The Sea-Rex is a play on the sea, based on rhyme, with "Sea" rhyming with 'T' of 'T-Rex'.
- The Sea-Rex's appearance is likely based on a shark. This makes sense as they both are dangerous and renowned predators, with the shark also fitting the sea theme.
- The description plays on the word seafood, as well as the tyrannosaurus rex's predatory nature when it was alive.
- The Baby Sea-Rex's ability which increases the player's speed in water also reflects the sea theme.

- The Sea-Rex was released in version 1.8.0 on the 18th of May 2017, along with Jurassic and most Jurassic animals.
