The Sea Lion is the ninth lion that the player can obtain in the game. It was first released for the Second Anniversary Event.
Appearance[]
The Sea Lion has purple fur, visibly coating its head, arms and tail. Its attire resembles that of a pirate's, with a dull plum-coloured tricorne sitting atop its head, lined with orange and with red feathers standing on top from the centre. These feathers point backwards and to the lion's right. Its mane and stylised, jagged beard and moustache are coloured navy, and across its right eye is a black eyepatch. Its body features a dull red pirate's coat, also lined with orange, with a very large vent at the back and a blue band around its 'waist'. At its front paws, grey cuffs can be seen. On its left side it carries a small revolver, and on its right it carries a thin cutlass. Finally, its lower half consists of dull plum-coloured pants and black-navy pirate's boots.
Description[]
The notorious pirate captain Blackmane is the scourge of the high seas. An incredibly skilled sailor despite an intense fear of water.

Note: Its chance of appearing is extremely low due to it being a tier 5 animal. It will appear randomly but very rarely, and never before 1800m.

- The Sea Lion is a pun on a sea lion, commonly known as 'fur seals'. In this case, the Sea Lion is literally a pirate lion, or a sea-faring lion.
- The description references Blackbeard, one of history's most infamous pirates.
- The Baby Sea Lion's ability in which animals are 12% faster in water when it is sidekicked also references its maritime nature.
- The description also references the fact that most cats dislike water. This fits as lions actually dislike water, unlike tigers, who love water.
- The One-eyed Wolfbeard, Anne Bunny, Peglegasus, and Captain Bananarrrrr also play on pirates.
