Dolphins are the sixth species of animal available in the Ocean Zoo. Dolphins are speeding animals. There are 8 different types of dolphins.

Behaviour[]
- Wild: Dolphins move relatively slowly, mostly appearing solitarily.
- When ridden: Dolphins move at a fast pace, while swimming upward and downward in a fast motion, similar to the angry behavior of most flying animals in the game.
- When angry: Dolphins move at a faster pace and swim more towards the ground.
- In habitat: Dolphins swim around, while shaking from side to side slightly.
- Selected in habitat: Dolphins rise up slightly and wobble from side to side.
Tips[]
Dolphins, like manta rays, can be used to get two seconds of extra oxygen, however, they can sometimes miss the oxygen bubbles below while swimming upward. Their angry ability can be used to get to the next oxygen bubble, and their bumping ability (level 8) can aid in this as well.
Habitat Upgrades[]
- Level 1 - 2x more dolphins in the stampede
- Level 2 - Get 2s of bonus oxygen when landing on dolphins
- Level 3 - Ride for an extra 2s before a dolphin gets angry
- Level 4 - Better steering while the dolphin isn't angry
- Level 5 - Gain 50% more ticket money from dolphins
- Level 6 - While you are in the air, dolphins move towards your lasso
- Level 7 - Get bonus coins for riding an angry dolphin
- Level 8 - Allows dolphins to bump into small fish without crashing
- Level 9 - 2x more rare dolphins in the stampede
Trivia[]
- The sound used for the dolphins is actually a sped-up kookaburra sound.
- Upon release, the bumping ability did not work, instead, the dolphins would go through every animal. This was fixed in update 2.8.0.
