Behaviour[]

  • Wild: Eels move relatively slowly.
  • When ridden: Eels move at a faster pace, being able to bump small fish if the player has upgraded their eel habitat to level 4.
  • When angry: Eels, exactly like hydras, speed up slightly, and their side-to-side swimming movement becomes gradually wider, making it very difficult for the player to steer and determine their jump direction.
  • In habitat: Eels swim around and look side to side from time to time.
    • Selected in habitat: Eels spin rapidly twice on the spot in an anti-clockwise motion.

Tips[]

Eels offer good agility when not angry. They have a lot of weaknesses though, being very prone to crashing due to their side-to-side motion and not being able to bump into many animals in the Ocean. When angry, they become virtually uncontrollable and impossible to jump off without dying or latching onto another animal luckily.

Habitat Upgrades[]

  • Level 1 - Ride for an extra 1.5s before an eel gets angry
  • Level 2 - Get bonus coins while travelling at top speed on eels
  • Level 3 - 2x more eels in the stampede
  • Level 4 - Allows eels to bump into small fish without crashing
  • Level 5 - Gain 50% more ticket money from eels
  • Level 6 - Oxygen depletes 5% slower
  • Level 7 - Ride for an extra 1s before an eel gets angry
  • Level 8 - Eels wobble less when angry
  • Level 9 - 2x more rare eels in the stampede
