Rhinos are the twelfth animal in the Sky Zoo. Rhinos are smashing animals. There are 11 different types of rhino. They can be unlocked at Jungle 3, excluding the Dhinoceros, which is unlocked at Jungle 4.

Behaviour[]
- Wild: Rhinos move very slowly.
- When ridden: Rhinos are slow to begin with but as the player rides them, they will speed up. If the player smashes shrubs, rocks (level 3 habitat required), animals and trees, they will speed up even faster, with a noticeable "jolt" in speed with every obstacle smashed.
- When angry: Rhinos stop, lurch back and launch the player forward with a buck.
- In habitat: They walk around, sometimes sniffing the ground or wagging their tail.
- Selected in habitat: They wiggle around like jelly from the base of their legs.
Tips[]
From level 3 onwards, rhinos can smash rocks, making them indestructible to anything apart from side walls. Rhinos are extremely useful at any distance in Jungle due to their invincibility and their increased speed, particularly later on when the player is moving especially fast as they can carry the player almost 1000m.
Habitat Upgrades[]
- Level 1 - 2x more rhinos in the stampede
- Level 2 - Smashing things will increase the speed of a rhino
- Level 3 - Allows rhinos to smash through rocks
- Level 4 - Gain 50% more ticket money from rhinos
- Level 5 - Increased riding speed on rhinos
- Level 6 - Ride for an extra 1s before a rhino gets angry
- Level 7 - Get bonus coins by smashing obstacles on rhinos
- Level 8 - 2x more rare rhinos in the stampede
- Level 9 - Add a new rare Rhino to the stampede (Marcel Rhineau)
Notes[]
- Rhinos were released in the original release, version 1.0.0, on the 22nd of June 2016, along with Savannah and all original Savannah animals, Jungle and all other original Jungle animals, and the Sky Zoo.
- Rhinos with the ending 'ceros' were inconsistently spelt. The only correct example of this was in 'Dhinoceros', with the suffix being spelt correctly with the 'o'. The other two ('Skynocerus' and 'Slimenocerus') were spelt incorrectly with a 'u' in the suffix.
- This was corrected in version 1.12.1 on the 14th of November 2017.
