Sharks are the eleventh species of animal available in the Ocean Zoo. Sharks are eating animals. There are 8 different types of shark.

Behaviour[]
- Wild: Sharks move relatively slowly, mostly appearing solitarily.
- When ridden: Sharks move at a fast pace, being able to eat most animals. After upgrading, they can smash coral (level 8) and eat other sharks (level 7).
- When angry: Sharks slow down and flick the player up in the air, before swallowing them whole.
- In habitat: Sharks swim around, and hop once from time to time.
- Selected in habitat: Sharks rear up slightly and chomp once, before nodding their head slightly.
Tips[]
Sharks are the primary eating animal in the Ocean, and after being fully upgraded, are very useful for getting through short bursts in the stampede while being invincible to most obstacles. However, even fully maxed sharks cannot eat blue whales.

- Level 1 - 2x more sharks in the stampede
- Level 2 - Increased riding speed on sharks
- Level 3 - Get bonus coins for eating other animals on sharks
- Level 4 - Ride faster through kelp on sharks
- Level 5 - Gain 50% more ticket money from sharks
- Level 6 - Eating animals keeps sharks happy for longer
- Level 7 - Allows sharks to eat other sharks
- Level 8 - Allows sharks to smash through coral
- Level 9 - 2x more rare sharks in the stampede

- Sharks were released in version 2.0.0 on the 14th of April 2022, along with the Ocean Zoo, Ocean and all original Ocean species.
