Squid are the third species of animal available in the Ocean Zoo. Squid are speeding animals. There are 6 different types of squid.

Behaviour[]
- Wild: Squid move forwards with a pumping motion, appearing mostly alone. With each pump, the tentacles fan out and lurch back, propelling the squid forward.
- When ridden: Squid move at a faster pace, with the same jerky pumping motion.
- When angry: Squid accelerate dramatically.
- In habitat: Squid gently float around in the habitat, moving with the same pumping motion.
- Selected in habitat: Squid 'charge' slightly, before spinning rapidly twice on the spot in a clockwise motion.
Tips[]
Squid move very fast when angry, making them ideal for getting to O² bubbles in time. However, they come with the drawback of slightly clunky motion, especially when coupled with a large hitbox.
Habitat Upgrades[]
- Level 1 - Jumping from a squid temporarily increases lasso size by 30%
- Level 2 - 2x more squid in the stampede
- Level 3 - Ride for an extra 1s before a squid gets angry
- Level 4 - Takes 10% less time for the Ocean zone to recharge
- Level 5 - Gain 50% more ticket money from squid
- Level 6 - Jump further from squid
- Level 7 - While you are in the air, squid move towards your lasso
- Level 8 - Get bonus coins while travelling at top speed on squid
- Level 9 - 2x more rare squid in the stampede

- Squid were released in version 2.0.0 on the 14th of April 2022, along with the Ocean Zoo, Ocean and all original Ocean species.
