Not to be confused with the actual stampede in normal runs or the Stampede, a centipede in the game.
The Stampede is a PvP system implemented into Rodeo Stampede in version 2.12.0, on the 6th of December 2022.
About[]
The Stampede is unlocked at Savannah 3. The Stampede allows the player to choose the zone that will be used, the animal, and the hat from the player's collection. If the player is not satisfied with the animal/hat choices, the player can refresh the choices for free, but on the second refresh, the player has to watch an ad to refresh. From the third refresh onwards, the player has to pay a certain amount of coins to refresh again. The choices can be refreshed for free if at least one game of The Stampede is played.
After hitting the "Start a match" button, the player is paired up against three other players. The players then race up through the zone that the player chose previously until the player dies. A scoreboard is shown at the end of the run listing the players from first to last. The player who ran the farthest gets first place. The Stampede can be played 5 times before either having to wait for a new PvP ticket, or to buy PvP tickets, either by watching ads or using real money.
Points[]
Points are awarded based on your rank. First place earns 20 points, second place earns 10 points, third place earns 0 points, and last place loses 10 points. You can also gain or lose extra points by doing certain objectives or through win/lose streaks.
Tickets[]
The player can buy tickets from the Stampede Ticket button to gain a The Stampede run without waiting for another one. The player can either buy a bronze ticket (gives 1 The Stampede run) by watching an ad, a silver ticket (gives 5 The Stampede runs) by paying real money or a gold ticket (gives infinite The Stampede runs for 3 days) by paying real money.
Buffs[]
Buffs aid the player to get further in the stampede. Buffs were added in 2.15.0.
Invincibility Buff[]
The invinicibility buff
The invincibility buff will make the animal the player is riding able to smash anything (albeit it goes through large central rocks and will make the animal bump indestructible animals), increase their riding speed and increase the time before the animal gets angry (all abilities last for 5 seconds).
Space-Time Portal[]
The Space-Time portal, or simply portal, (not to be confused with the portal from the Space Zoo) teleports the player forward in the stampede. However, the Space-Time portal may also teleport the player a few meters backwards in the stampede.

The Stampede Season 1 lasted from the 6th of December 2022 to the 31st of January 2023 in update 2.12.0. Its rewards were based on winter.
