The Umbra Llama is the ninth llama in the stampede. It can only be tamed through an in-app purchase.

Appearance

The Umbra Llama has purple and dark blue colours on its body. These suggest an influence of darkness. Much of its head is obscured by a white skull it wears, with golden ears and long, dark blue striped leaves or feathers on top. Its eyes each have a vertical red streak running through them. It wears a dark blue garment which has multiple points on its hem, a purple gem dangling from the end of each. Its collar is dark blue with a white and gold, serrated, shield-like plate on each side. Dark and light blue coloured bands coat each of its four legs.

Description

Coming from a mysterious land, the Umbra Llama holds dark energy.

Requirements

• Sky Zoo upgraded to Mountains 1 or greater.
• Purchase as a part of Exclusive Cowboy Pack V.
  • Pack is only available for 3 days, from either:
    • The time the player opens the game after updating to version 1.28.0.
    • The time the player unlocks Mountains 1 or any area after.
• Once obtained, ride past 800m in Mountains.

Note: Its chance of appearing is medium due to it being a tier 3 animal. It will appear in just over half the runs the player does, and never before 800m.

Trivia

• The Umbra Llama's overall theme is based on darkness, with no specific cultural reference.
  • "Umbra" in the name means of shadow or darkness. The last syllable of "umbra" rhymes with "llama".
  • The Umbra Llama's theme may have been influenced by the pack it appeared in, with the pack, including the Asbirdation, having a notable dark, supernatural theme.

• The Umbra Llama was released on the 2nd of December 2020 on iOS, and the 4th of December 2020 on Android, in version 1.28.0.
• At an unknown date, the description was changed slightly. The original description was "Coming from the mysterious land, the Umbra Llama holds Dark Force."
• The Umbra Llama might be a reference to the film "The Dark Crystal".
