Hi everyone, don’t you think it’s been a while since a challenge or competition was announced by the developers? I mean the ones posted by all you guys as users on KTplay are fun and all, but it’s been some time since we've been able to win actual prizes such as epic animals, coins, energy and other things we have to spend real money on to get.
I have heard from the developers that they are currently working on a new game, but don’t you think it would be great if they could invest some time back into Rodeo Stampede? It’s not like the game is dead already, but if the developers are out of ideas and don’t have the inspiration to put work into Rodeo Stampede, they are doing a good job in killing the game off.
Look at the recent Halloween event, we got three new hats and no new animals to purchase, plus, the format is the exact same as last year's, and the same as the Chinese New Year Event too. It just seems that these events are getting stale, they have the same repetitive format where you collect some items and buy some things from the shop, and once you’ve bought them all you just wait for the next update or the next event, which in this case, disappointed many of us because we didn’t get any new animals.
The release of dimetrodons also kept us interested for a short while, but now most people have them all, and there’s nothing to do anymore.
This isn’t a hate message to the developers, it’s more of a plea. There is a whole community here eagerly waiting for something new to happen, just look at the KTplay community and you’ll see bored people looking for a way to express themselves with people who also play the game even when there’s nothing new to talk about.
So I think a solution, if there isn’t the time to make new animals or design new zones or come up with new, exciting events with different formats, is to host a challenge event or a competition, giving people the chance to win something more than just influence points and likes on KTplay. It is exciting to see where people rank up, and even more so to have the chance to win stuff you otherwise have to pay for. I know last time it was a bit of a bust because of the glitch which caused players to run in slo-mo allowing for ridiculous scores, but now all iOS 11+ devices have screen recording, making it easier to record, and there’s no more glitch which makes things easier for people, so it’s fair for everyone.
Hopefully this is taken into consideration, as there is a community out there just waiting for something to happen.
