The Yakintosh is the fourth VIP animal in the game.

Appearance

The Yakintosh has the same general shape as the Yak. Its body is covered in a computer-like grid pattern, coloured dark green with thin lighter green stripes. Its head is replaced by a chunky old computer monitor, with a luminous blue screen displaying a pixelated set of eyes and eyebrows. Its horns are replaced by computer chips stretching out from large holes in the sides of the monitor. Translucent, glowing numbers '0' and '1', in a classical computer-style font, are projected from the Yakintosh.

Requirements

• Spend enough real money in the game to reach VIP level 4 (amount varies per country and currency).

Abilities

• Allows Yakintosh to smash through rocks
• Jump further from Yakintosh
• Increased riding speed on Yakintosh
• Get bonus coins by smashing obstacles on Yakintosh

Behaviour

• When ridden: The Yakintosh bucks jerkily and at speed, but can smash animals, trees and rocks.
• When angry: The Yakintosh throws the player off with little obvious bucking or throwing movement.
• In habitat: The Yakintosh grazes the ground.
  • Selected in habitat: The Yakintosh wiggles its body like jelly.

Trivia

• The Yakintosh is a pun on 'Macintosh', since branded as 'Mac', a line of computers sold by Apple. It was the first commercially available computer that featured a mouse, screen and graphical user interface.
  • The '0' and '1' particles and the description is a reference to binary code. The description when translated to text, says "Hi!". You can try it yourself here.
• The Yakintosh is the only VIP animal that does not have any abilities that are improvements on the species it resembles.

Notes

• The Yakintosh was released in version 1.24.0 on the 23rd of October 2019 on iOS and the 25th of October on Android, along with all pangolins, roosters, kirins and other VIP animals.
• In version 1.26.1 on the 17th of February 2020, the Yakintosh gained abilities that made it equal to an upgraded yak.
