The Young Grasshopper is the fifth grasshopper in the game by zoo order. It can be found in the stampede when the player upgrades their grasshopper habitat to level 2 or higher.
Appearance[]
The Young Grasshopper is mostly similar in colour to the Grasshopper, although its face and wings are slightly more pink, and the tips of its legs are purple. The Young Grasshopper wears a red headband around the top of its head, and a white martial arts uniform with a red belt tied around its waist.

Catching a fly with chopsticks is a lot tougher when they're the same size as you.
Requirements[]
- Garden 1 unlocked.
- Grasshopper tamed.
- Grasshopper habitat upgraded to level 2 or higher.
- Ride past 1200m in Garden.
Note: Its chance of appearing is low due to it being a tier 4 animal. It will appear randomly but not often, and never before 1200m.

- The Young Grasshopper is a play on the term 'young grasshopper', which is a term used by a martial arts master to describe their student, an inexperienced apprentice in training. The Young Grasshopper's appearance supports this.
- The description references the skill of catching flies with chopsticks, a skill which only experienced Asian martial arts masters have mastered. It also references how real life grasshoppers are approximately a similar size to some flies.
